 One thing I will never forget, when asking one of my mentor teachers how he was doing, he looked at me with pearcing eyes and said, “ Good as any, better than most.” However you want to take that, it stuck with me; and when I think about how we move pianos, I believe that slogan applies. We have designed and built our tools along the way and most times our customers are amazed at how easy it is for us to move their piano or organ. I am constantly observing the moving world out there as well as watching other movers at piano shows. As a result, we have built a skid for 9’ concert grands and believe it or not one man can load up a Steinway D with this set-up - something that previously took three or more men to do. Depending on the piano and move we use a minimum of two men. However, one man can safely and securely move small grands and uprights with our system.
Our trailers have been painstakingly retrofitted for piano moving and as of 3-07 they are humidity controlled. Because our tools work so well, our moving prices are very competitive.
